The SpaceX Starship is the world's most powerful rocket, designed for Mars missions. Standing 120 meters tall, it will carry 100+ tons of cargo or 100 passengers to Mars in 6-9 months. With in-orbit refueling at Starbase, Starship will enable the first uncrewed Mars landings in 2026, paving the way for crewed flights in 2028. Its Raptor engines produce 17 million pounds of thrust, making it the key to making humanity multiplanetary.

Starbase in Boca Chica, Texas, is SpaceX's dedicated Mars gateway. This 200+ acre facility features massive launch towers, propellant farms, and production lines for 1,000+ Starships per year. From here, Starship fleets will depart for Mars during 2026 transfer windows, supporting Arcadia Planitia landings. Starbase's rapid reusability infrastructure will fuel the Mars city, with expansion plans for Florida sites to boost launch cadence.
